I am a qualified and experienced individual and couple psychodynamic psychotherapist.
I have experience working with couples and individuals on a long term and short term basis.
I have worked with a diverse group of clients, including cross-cultural and LGBT couples.
Psychotherapist Qualifications
I trained at the Tavistock Relationships (TR), where I qualified as a Couple and Individual Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
I undertake regular clinical supervision, a program of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and am a member of these professional bodies:
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
- Graduate Member of The Tavistock Relationships Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors
I adhere to the codes of ethics of these bodies.
I worked in the financial industry before becoming a psychotherapist.
I hold a Master in Management from HEC Paris.
In addition to my private practice, I am a Seminar Leader at Tavistock Relationships on the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy training and an Honorary Teaching Fellow at Birkbeck University.
In the past, I have worked at the Tavistock Relationships as a Senior Visiting Clinician in the General Counselling Service. I have also been involved in the Divorce and Separation Consultations Service and supervised clinicians in Assessments.
I am bilingual in English and French and can therefore offer therapy in both languages.
How I work
We would arrange one to three initial consultations where your concerns as a couple or an individual can be explored. These initial consultations will give you a feel for how I work and an opportunity to clarify any questions you may have. If we find an agreement to work together we would then usually meet on a weekly basis for 50min sessions at regular agreed time for as long as is helpful.
